Chainsaw training
Australian Operator Training offers the full range of nationally recognised chainsaw competencies, including maintenance, cross-cutting, and tree falling at basic, intermediate and advanced levels.

About the course

The training and assessment is carried out by our specialist trainers, who own their own chainsaw training businesses and auspice to us as the RTO.

All of our trainers are recognised industry experts. Our clients include National Parks and Wildlife Service, Fire Brigade, State Emergency Services, local councils, tree work contractors, 4WD clubs and private individuals.

The following competencies are offered in both initial training courses and re-accreditations (refresher courses).

The competencies listed in the left hand column are the current versions. The right hand column shows the superseded versions of the same competencies. If you are seeking a re-accreditation, it is likely that you will already hold the superseded version, which will be upgraded when you are reassessed.

Issue of chainsaw tickets
