Course Overview
The Licence to Operate A Forklift Truck (TLILIC0003) is a nationally recognised forklift licence that qualifies you to operate a forklift anywhere in Australia.

A Licence to Operate A Forklift Truck (TLILIC0003) with Australian Operator Training teaches you how to safely plan the forklift work, conduct routine checks on a forklift truck, shift loads in a safe manner, and safely shut down and secure equipment after completing operations.
Successful completion of our forklift course will result in a forklift ticket. You’ll require a valid forklift licence to remain employed or gain employment as an operator of these vehicles. These versatile machines are used across a range of industries and are a great start to any career.

- Training and operator competency including safe working practices, work areas and equipment placement
- Machinery inspection including vehicles including aspects of immobilisation, contamination inspection and safety handling
- Hazardous waste materials from safety aspects, to inspection and disposal
- Cleaning-based decisions where the right method for the right cleaning job is applied along with associated precautions in preparation for cleaning
- Practical hands-on activities which include how to wash down a vehicle to minimise and reduce risks from plant and soil material contaminating other sites

Course Inclusions
- Training will be conducted by one of our experienced trainer / assessors who have resource industry currency and supported by a strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards.
- Practical and theoretical activities drive the training experience to ensure that the training is engaging, interesting and relevant.
- 2 days of training. Up to 7 trainees per course. A typical course runs from 07:30-15:30
- Be at least 18 years of age
- We supply all equipment necessary for you to undertake training.

Students who are assessed as competent will receive a Statement of Attainment recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework. This certification is nationally recognised. The Statement is issued by Australian Operator Training (RTO 41351).
