This course is appropriate for people who work in high-risk areas, act as first aiders to larger facilities or groups, or work in areas where help may be delayed or have difficulty accessing casualties. The course covers a broad range of advanced skills and provides you with high level skills in management of large incidents, major trauma, sudden cardiac arrest and emotionally disturbed and drug affected casualties.

Course Inclusions

  • Training will be conducted by one of our experienced trainer / assessors who have resource industry currency and supported by a strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards.

  • Practical and theoretical activities drive the training experience to ensure that the training is engaging, interesting and relevant.
  • One 8-hour day of training. Up to 12 trainees per course. A typical course runs from 07:30-17:30
Participants must
  • Be at least 14 years of age
  • Participants are required to undertake or present evidence for HLTAID011 Provide First Aid prior to
    commencing this course.
