Operate and Maintain 4wd Vehicles
This course is generally for persons operating four wheel drive vehicles in the government, construction, mining, gas, or resources sector. Generally, the work will involve working in remote or desolate areas.

About the course

Australian Operator Training offers the full range of nationally recognised chainsaw competencies, including maintenance, cross-cutting, and tree falling at basic, intermediate and advanced levels.

The training and assessment is carried out by our specialist trainers, who own their own chainsaw training businesses and auspice to us as the RTO.

All of our trainers are recognised industry experts. Our clients include National Parks and Wildlife Service, Fire Brigade, State Emergency Services, local councils, tree work contractors, 4WD clubs and private individuals.

Course Inclusions

  • Training will be conducted by one of our experienced trainer / assessors who have resource industry currency and supported by a strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards.
  • Practical and theoretical activities drive the training experience to ensure that the training is engaging, interesting and relevant.
  • 1 days of training. Up to 6 trainees per course. A typical course runs from 07:30-15:30
